Site Management Days

Many wildlife sites require maintenance work to keep them in good condition. The following are examples of projects we are currently undertaking:

  • Removing scrub and reed growth from our SWT Cambus Pools reserve

  • Gathering the seeds of bee and butterfly friendly plants and sowing in meadowland

  • Micro-managing the areas around rare endangered plants

  • Removing alien plants like Giant Hogweed and Himalayan Balsam

  • Removing scrub and strimming grassland on wildflower rich meadows

  • Propagating native plants to bolster endangered populations in the wild

If you want to help us with any of those tasks, please do get in touch via our Contact Us page.
