Welcome to the Home of the Scottish Wildlife Trust in

Stirling, Clacks and Surrounding Areas

Stirling Members' Centre covers some of the most varied and attractive countryside in central Scotland, from Loch Lomondside in the west to Glen Devon in the East.  Important wildlife areas include the Forth and Devon Valleys, the Trossachs, Ochils and Campsie Fells as well as Flanders Moss National Nature Reserve and parts of the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park. Be it animals, plants, birds or insects we have something for all interested in natural history.

The role of the Members' Centre is to provide a local presence for the Scottish Wildlife Trust in the Stirlingshire and Clackmannanshire areas.
  • Our winter monthly talks are designed to be informative and provide a forum for people concerned about wildlife conservation to meet and also to discuss local issues. (Non members are welcome.)
  • Our committee liaises with Clacks and Stirling local authorities helping them to discharge their statutory obligations to wildlife in matters such as planning and conservation.

  • We help to maintain our nature reserves on the Upper Forth and recruit conservation volunteers and wildlife recorders when they are needed for local projects.

  • The Members' Centre supports a monthly Wildlife Watch Group for children.

  • ID training programmes are offered when there is sufficient demand.
